All are worked onto hand-dyed silk backgrounds, some have been machine quilted before embellishing with hand embroidery.  I love textile art and especially the use of handstitching to add additional dimension.  I have given each card a name ... all attributes of the "beautiful" woman's special gifts of friendship.
